GTB Zorah
A downloadable Game for Windows
This is a modified and improved version of the Zorah Sample project originally created by NVIDIA.
Expanded with a larger map, optimizations, relighting, and new gameplay features, this version brings the Zorah experience to life using the latest Unreal Engine 5 capabilities.
In this version (v2.2), you can switch between real-time Path Tracing (ReSTIR) and standard Lumen during runtime, along with other individual options such as DLSS, Ray Reconstruction, Frame Generation, Ray Tracing Shadows, and RTXGI. A Lumen preset and a Path Tracing preset have been included too.
NOTE: This relies on an experimental branch of Unreal Engine 5.4 by NVIDIA, so some technologies like MegaLights (UE5.5) couldn't be used. While I’ve tried to isolate them as much as possible, keep in mind that some features required by real-time Path Tracing are hardcoded (like Mega Geometry), even when using Lumen. These won't affect visuals but may impact performance. A Lumen-only project would perform 25% better (see v1.2 edition).
Two Complementary Editions
You can download both, as they are complementary, if you want a wider and deeper point of view. If you're just looking to compare visual quality, you can use v2.2 (PT/Lumen). But if you really want to compare both quality and actual performance, you should compare v2.2 (Path Tracing) against v1.2 (Lumen):
v2.2 (PT/Lumen): Two versions in one — real-time Path Tracing (all NVIDIA techs) + Lumen (with some minor NVIDIA code still hardcoded in the background), switchable on the fly. Very heavy. (Recommended: RTX 4080+)
v1.2 (Lumen): The Lumen-only version. Same as in v2.2, but without any proprietary NVIDIA code running in the background (though DLSS, Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction are still available). This version performs better than v2.2’s Lumen while maintaining the same visual quality, and even better lamps' shadows thanks to MegaLights. (Recommended: RTX 4060+ or AMD/Intel equivalent)

This is really cool. Thanks for creating and sharing it.
Thank you Richard! I love making experiments and seeing how you enjoy them :)
